Questions We Get
Before You Sign.
If the answer you need is not here, ask us directly. We would rather have the awkward question on a call than in month three.
About the Company
What exactly do you do?
Two things, offered separately. Technology designs and builds software, apps and websites. Managed Teams recruits, trains and employs full-time or part-time professionals and places them with you. Most clients take one and never need the other.
Do I have to take both services?
No. They are priced, scoped and staffed independently, with separate contracts. If we built your product, the support team we staff already understands it — but that is a convenience, never a requirement.
Who will I actually deal with?
A founder during scoping, and a named account manager once you are live. There is no account executive layer between you and the people doing the work.
Where are you based?
Our teams work with US companies and overlap US business hours. The exact coverage window is agreed on the scoping call before anything is signed.
Managed Teams
Can I hire part-time instead of full-time?
Yes. Every role is available full-time at 40 hours a week or part-time from 20 hours a week, billed at a lower flat monthly rate. You can move a part-time hire to full-time at any point without a new contract.
How much does it cost compared with hiring locally?
A managed hire typically lands 55 to 70% below the fully loaded cost of the same role hired locally, once salary, employer tax, benefits, equipment and desk are counted. Your own figure depends on the role and the hours, so we quote it on the scoping call against the budget you already have. One monthly fee covers onboarding, payroll, benefits, devices and management.
Who prepares the staff to work with US companies?
Haider and Faaiz do, personally. Between them they spent 22 years in customer facing roles at US companies, and they wrote and deliver the US readiness onboarding every professional completes before they reach you.
Who employs the staff?
We do. The professional you choose remains our employee, not yours. Contracts, payroll, statutory contributions, benefits, insurance and exits are our responsibility. You direct the work; we handle the employment.
Do I have to use your technology service as well?
No. Managed Teams and Technology are separate services with separate contracts. Clients regularly take one and never touch the other.
What happens if the hire is not a good fit?
We replace them at no charge within the first 90 days, with no fee for the replacement search, onboarding or setup. Contracts run on a 30-day rolling basis with no long-term lock-in.
Technology Projects
What does a technology project cost?
Projects and retainers start from $2,400. The real number comes from a scoping call, and we price the work before anyone writes code.
Do you work on existing codebases?
Yes. A lot of our work is adding to, or rescuing, something that already exists rather than starting from an empty repository.
Who owns the code?
You do. Repositories, infrastructure and accounts are yours, and we hand over access as part of delivery rather than at the end of a dispute.
Can you support the product after launch?
Yes, either as a retainer with our engineers or by staffing support through Managed Teams — trained on a product we wrote ourselves.
